Trust & security
Where is my data stored?+
Your files (documents and photos) are stored with Infomaniak in Switzerland, on their backup service. The database and the application run on a server hosted in Switzerland. The artificial intelligence analysis also goes through Infomaniak, in Switzerland. That's our strongest point: your administrative documents don't end up in a generic American cloud service.
Who can see my documents?+
Only you. Every account is isolated: nobody else, no other user, can reach your files or your analyses. I don't look at your documents, unless you write to me about a specific technical problem and give me permission.
Are my documents used to train artificial intelligence?+
No. Your documents are not used to train artificial intelligence models, neither by us nor to feed a public dataset. They are only used to produce your analysis, then stay on your account until you delete them.
How do I delete my documents / my account? What happens next?+
Delete a document from its page, or your whole account from Settings → Delete my account. We erase your files on the Swiss storage, all the data in the database (documents, lists, settings) and your sign-in account. This is permanent and irreversible — as promised in our privacy policy.
Is the data encrypted?+
Yes in transit: all communication with AdminEasy goes over a secure connection. At Infomaniak, storage is encrypted. Access to the server and the database is restricted and password-protected.
Who is behind AdminEasy?+
AdminEasy is a Swiss project run by a student at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). Not an opaque multinational — a tool built to make Swiss admin simpler. A question? contact@admineasy.ch.
Product & how it works
What kinds of documents can I analyse?+
Bills, insurance letters, taxes, payment reminders, contracts, administrative decisions, official letters, cancellations, debt collection notices… In short: any everyday Swiss administrative document you receive by post or digitally.
Which formats are accepted?+
PDF documents and photos (JPEG, PNG). On mobile you can photograph a letter directly from the Upload page. iPhone photos (HEIC) are not supported yet — export as JPEG or as a PDF document if needed. Maximum size: 10 megabytes per file.
Is the analysis reliable? Can I rely on it for important decisions?+
Artificial intelligence helps you understand and not forget anything, but it can get things wrong (amount, date, level of urgency). Always check critical information against the original document. AdminEasy does not replace legal, tax or medical advice — it's a reading aid, not an expert opinion.
Does it work with documents in German / Italian / English?+
The interface is available in French, German, Italian and English. Automatic text reading is optimised for these languages. A document in another language can sometimes be analysed, but less reliably. For an important decision, always read the original text.
How long does an analysis take?+
A few seconds for a document with selectable text. Allow 1 to 3 minutes (sometimes more) for a scan or a photo: the text has to be read page by page before the analysis. You can leave the page — processing continues in the background.
Pricing & account
Is it really free? What's the catch?+
Yes: 15 free documents to get started, then 5 per month, with no bank card and no commitment. The paid subscription is optional if you analyse often. No selling of data, no trial that quietly turns into a subscription.
What happens when I reach my monthly limit?+
You can't upload new documents until the 1st of the following month. The documents you've already analysed stay available (dashboard, calendar, reminders). Move to the paid plan if you need it regularly.
How do I cancel my subscription?+
In one click, no letter needed: Settings → Manage my subscription. No commitment — you go back to the free plan at the end of the period you've already paid for. Your documents stay with you, nothing is deleted.
Which payment methods do you accept?+
Payment goes through a specialised provider: bank card (Visa, Mastercard…) and Twint when it's offered at checkout — very handy in Switzerland. No banking data passes through our servers.
How we're different
How is this different from Swiss Post's ePost?+
ePost digitises and archives your physical mail. AdminEasy analyses what you upload: summary, deadlines, what to do, suggested reply. The two can complement each other — ePost to receive, AdminEasy to understand and act.
